BEIT ABUSHDID

Your very own Tel Aviv love story

Address 16 Levontin St., Tel Aviv Year 2016 Architect Gidi Bar Orian   Status Sold

Tel Aviv’s great love story can now be yours. This unique restoration project contains a romantic chapter of Israeli history: the romance between Itamar Ben Avi and Leah Abushdid.

Itamar (son of Eliezer Ben Yehuda, the founder of modern Hebrew,) famously wrote Leah love poems in his father’s newspaper until Leah’s father allowed her to marry him. The couple then moved to the house at Levontin 16, the beautiful eclectic-style home that has now been restored to its former glory.
Beit Abushdid now boasts commercial and residential properties with luxurious specifications and style of historic proportions. With its central, chic location near cafes, boutiques, Levinsky market and Rothschild Boulevard, living in Beit Abushdid makes everyday a new romance with historic Tel Aviv.
